ECO FRIENDLY CAMPUS

Water conservation through Drip irrigation and water recycling. Waste RO water is collected and used for mopping purposes. Genius school structure is based on Vastu Shastra Principles and norms, which is a scientific approach for the development of a child, in line with getting positive energy from sun (natural light).

School enabling the students to have natural and practical experiences of energy conservation and resource utilization which are burning requirements of the day. Our modern inbuilt water filtration plant to ensure 100% safe drinking water.

LIBRARY INTERNATIONAL STANDARD

The school library has a wide range of books to meet the demands of the students and to develop the reading habit among the students. The school has a well stocked library with an impressive index of titles, covering fiction and nonfiction, resource /reference books, dailies and magazines. Our rich collection of books is updated regularly and students are encouraged to make full use of this facility to develop a love for books from an early age.

INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY

Children are exposed to Information and Communication Technology from an early age. PowerPoint presentations and overhead projectors are used as teaching aids. These ICT facilities enable to create a sense of interest in students as they see and learn. ICT is integrated throughout the curriculum as a teaching tool. An Active Board with a touch screen that permits a dynamic interactive learning environment facilitates the teacher’s control of student activity.

PHYSICS LAB

There is well-equipped Physics laboratory which can cater to 100 students each of the Senior and Middle school respectively. There is a provision for all the children to conduct their experiments individually. Many working models are displayed for different experiments. Each laboratory has a qualified lab assistant. All safety measures are taken care of. Routine stock-taking is done to ensure that the labs are in perfect order.

CHEMISTRY LAB

Chemistry labs are well equipped and can accommodate 100 students. The children can conduct practical individually. Students also conduct investigatory projects apart from the usual testing and analysis. For junior student there are provisions to demonstrate a lot of experiments. Many charts and models are displayed and used as teaching aids. Both the labs are managed by qualified lab assistants who help the students to perform experiments safely.

BIOLOGY LAB

The Biology labs are well- structured, well-lit and well-equipped. There is no dearth of material and children are encouraged to explore the mysteries and understand difficult concepts of the subject through experimentation. The children are also taken outdoors to study the flora and fauna. The school garden is an ecology lab by itself. The gardener’s supply the lab with live materials like plants and insects. All kinds of rooting, grafting, germination procedures and chromatography are also executed in the Biology labs.

KINDERGARTEN THEME BASED CLASS

All knows the children has many imagination and they love to be in that world accordingly we have designed our classes.
These well-equipped and spacious rooms provide a wide variety of resources aimed at stimulating the interests of children’s during recreation time and also for specific activities.

Educational toys, puzzles, models, bricks, blocks are all carefully selected for the children to enjoy their kindergarten years and to develop their potential through play way method.

AUDITORIUM/MULTI PURPOSE HALL

One of the biggest attractions of our school is our Multipurpose Hall which is designed in adherence to the ultra-modern and eco-friendly specifications. It is extensively utilized as an integral domain of the school. Our Multipurpose Hall is an architecturally beautiful structure on the campus. Any multipurpose space should be able to handle a wide range of functions. This hall has been designed with sound and lighting systems. It has acoustically treated walls and ceilings. It is technologically integrated and easily maintained.

SPORTS FACILITIES

The School has good sports facilities, which include indoor and outdoor games. Regular games periods are provided to students and they are encouraged to practice early in the morning or after school to excel at State and National level. Opportunities for team games and physical training are facilitated by trained physical instructors and yoga teachers.

FIRST AID CENTER

Children will be children! Bruised knees and elbows, the occasional ill health on campus are all part of school life. We at Genius School understand how important it is to have medical aid close on hand in an educational institution. We have a well-equipped infirmary where first aid is administered and a nurse is on-call all through the day. The infirmary has 2 sick-beds where children may rest till they are picked up for the day. All minor cuts and wounds are tended to here. Any oral medication administered is done so only after the permission of the parents has been sought.

COMPUTER LABORATORIES

Keeping in pace with the modern times and realizing the importance of Computer Education we have made computer education compulsory from the very beginning. Students have internet access through 16 MBPS leased line under the strict supervision of Computer Teacher. In fact, the whole campus has the facility of Wi-Fi connectivity.

Information and Communication Technology laboratories, 150+ computers are available for students. Each child has a dedicated system for their use. As practice we use LED/LCD monitors only, this is primarily to reduce eye strain. Children who have a flair for computers and are keen to learn more are encouraged to use the systems during the recess and Class Teacher periods.
